Thank you for taking the time to look at our site and for your interest in helping to build a community of ideas that will really improve the quality of teaching for exam groups. Staffroomproject.com is an environment where we, the teachers, have the opportunity to gain recognition for our work.

There are too many clichés and misunderstandings surrounding the teaching of exam groups and if education is to be improved then we need to tackle these head on - together. The key philosophy within this site is to show how exam preparation should not destroy good learning and teaching.

THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN...

We are currently in discussion with a publisher to write a book together with the teaching community (deadline in 2009) . We would like you to add ideas and techniques to each section, either in generic or subject specific examples, so that we can learn from each other and build up models of best practice. The aim is to provide practical examples as well as a rationale for wider use. Those examples that are added to the final draft will be acknowledged clearly in the book.

As we are publishing many of the contributions added to our website it is important that you agree that:

• all ideas and materials contributed to www.staffroomproject.com have been created by you, the contributer, and have not been taken from any other published resource (incl. online resources).
• you allow Johannes Ahrenfelt and Neal Watkin in cooperation with Continuum International Publishing Group to publish your contributions from www.staffroomproject.com, if decided, in their forthcoming book.
